The Story Behind the Name
Meram is a Turkish word for your true intent — the pure meaning underneath your words. In Turkish, “meramını anlatmak” means getting your point across clearly, authentically, and without misunderstanding.
The real distance a voice tool must bridge is not from sound to letters; it is from what you said to what you meant. Meram was designed around that single core principle.
Why Meram Exists
Traditional dictation tools break your focus. They force you to open a new tab, record into a clunky web UI, and manually copy-paste the output back into your work.
Meram removes the interface entirely. You press a single global shortcut, a minimalist floating pill appears, you speak, and finished text flows directly into whatever app is currently open.
