Terms of Service.
The terms for using the Meram app, Meram Cloud and the meram.app website.
1. Who provides Meram
Meram, the desktop app and the Meram Cloud service it relies on, is provided by Kuntay Erkuş, an individual developer. Contact: kuntayerkus@gmail.com. By downloading, installing or using Meram, you agree to these Terms.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. Meram Cloud is not offered in Turkey, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus or China, and does not work from there.
3. Your account
Meram Cloud needs an account. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. You can end things at any time and delete your account from inside the app.
4. Your content
What you dictate is yours. You let us process it only to provide the service: transcription, and translation or rewriting when you ask for it, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use it to train models. Meram's code, design, trademarks and branding remain ours.
5. Plans
Free includes 60 minutes of dictation and 300 AI polish or translate uses a month. Pro includes 20 hours and 3,000. Usage resets on the 1st of each month (UTC) and does not roll over. The limits exist to prevent automation and abuse.
6. Paying for Pro
Pro is sold by Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax and issues the receipt. The price is shown at checkout before you pay. Pro renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from “Manage subscription” in the app; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for and you are not charged again. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Meram to break the law or anyone's rights, to produce harmful content, as an automated or general-purpose AI service, or to get around its limits. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. AI output
Transcription and AI rewriting can be wrong, change your meaning, or add things you did not say. Check what Meram typed before you send or rely on it, and do not rely on it for medical, legal or other decisions where a mistake could cause harm. You can report a bad output from History (“Report”).
9. Availability and changes
Meram is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend or stop the service. When these terms change in a way that matters, Meram asks you to agree again before your next dictation is sent.
